As the summer winds down and we embrace the first hints of fall, we can't help but reflect on what an incredible season it has been here at Minnow 02807 on Block Island! The store was buzzing with energy, and we are beyond grateful for the wonderful customers—both familiar faces and new ones—that made this summer truly unforgettable.
Block Island in the summer is a special place. The warm breezes, stunning sunsets, and lively community create the perfect atmosphere for families to enjoy everything the island has to offer. And this year, it felt like the island was more alive than ever! Whether it was tourists making their first trip to Block Island or locals enjoying the sunny days, Minnow 02807 had the joy of being a part of so many summer adventures.
Our toy store was busier than ever, filled with laughter and excitement as kids (and plenty of adults!) explored our unique and fun collection of toys. From beach games to puzzles and stuffed animals, Minnow 02807 was the go-to spot for everyone looking to bring a little extra joy to their vacation. The shelves that were once stocked to the brim are now nearly bare—a true testament to the fun we shared with you all this season!
One of the best parts of our summer was seeing so many familiar faces returning to our little shop. We love our Block Island community, and it was heartwarming to see old friends and loyal customers year after year, always stopping by to say hello. It’s these relationships that make Minnow 02807 feel like so much more than a toy store; it’s a place where memories are made and where connections flourish.
And to all the new faces we met this summer—welcome! We loved seeing fresh smiles and hearing the laughter of new visitors discovering the store for the first time.
