Minnow 02807 opened its doors in 2020, but the story starts long before that. Kelly Case, the shop’s founder, grew up spending summers on Block Island at the home her grandparents built on Cormorant Cove. Those childhood memories, paired with over 20 years of retail experience, shaped her vision for a local toy shop that would feel both familiar and fresh.
Inspired by her daughter, then five years old, Kelly set out to create a place where kids could find toys that encourage creativity, curiosity, and hands-on play. Now in its fifth summer, Minnow 02807 has become a go-to stop for families — year-rounders and visitors alike — who are looking for thoughtfully chosen toys, games, and gifts.
From puzzles and building sets to outdoor games, craft kits, and small treasures, every item is selected with care. Minnow is proud to be a family-run business rooted in the Block Island community, and welcomes anyone who wants to bring home a bit of island fun.
